Cedar Siding Lake Home
After a fire disrupted the owner’s lives it was decided to renovate the outside as well and return this home to its potential.
The front was dated with overgrown and dying junipers dotting the front slope and a rotting and leaning wooden retaining wall in need of replacement. A stone retaining wall was designed to match the foundation of the home. Taking the opportunity to hide the a/c units during construction the equipment was temporarily moved so grade changes could be made. This allowed for a lower wall to still hide the units from view in front of the home while lowering overall project costs in comparison to building the wall taller and leaving the units at original grade. New plantings accentuate the understated beauty
