Very low maintenance and water requirements were paramount goals for this client while creating attention grabbing textures and colors for passing motorists.
This 2009 MALTA award winning design and install became known as “the community entrance down the street with all of the flowers” to those who couldn’t remember the name but remembered what it looked like. Low growing perennials, flowering groundcovers and dwarf shrubs in the place of turf set this property apart visually while keeping the site fencing and signage visible with little pruning. Drip irrigation throughout insured efficient use of natural resources but proper coverage for plants that needed more than rainfall.
