John’s background in the green industry began in 1986 with the Southeastern United States’ most successful developer of multi-family housing, Post Properties Inc. John received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia in 1990. He also received the Post Properties’ Doug Bates Memorial Scholarship for outstanding vocational and academic performance in 1988. He is a Georgia Certified Plant Professional (#450). John and his work have been featured in publications such as the Atlanta Journal and Constitution in 1999 and USA Today in 2003. He was also featured on HGTV’s Groundbreakers on Sunday October 5, 2008. John currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Directors of Community Gardens of Henry County.

 

Isaac Freeman, ManagerIsaacFreeman

Isaac graduated from Heritage High School in Conyers, Ga in 2005. Isaac has worked professionally as a land surveyor and also worked for 5 years as an Apple Product Professional, Apple’s highest level of certification. His hobbies include traveling with his wife and cheering for his beloved Florida Gators every Saturday in the Fall.

 

Toby Denham, Landscape DesignerToby

With a bachelor in Fine Arts degree from Georgia State University and 35 years in the green industry, Toby combines his earlier field experience in nursery and install together with two plus decades of designing hardscapes and softscapes for residential and commercial clients all over Georgia. Toby is a GGIA Certified Plant Professional and resides in Fayetteville with his wife Nancy who is also a local green industry Professional.

Joey has been in the landscape field since 2010. He participated in Future Farmers of America, baseball and had 4 years of agriscience classes at Luella High School where he graduated in 2013.

 

 

Wesley Aldana – Crew LeaderWesleyAldana

Wesley grew up in New York and Griffin, Georgia where he graduated from Spalding High School in 2010. Wesley’s background in the restaurant business gives him a service minded attitude and work ethic that speaks for itself as he helps to maintain some of south Atlanta’s finest properties. Wesley is a Certified Georgia Pesticide Applicator and focuses on keeping our client properties looking great.

Josh is originally  from the great state of Louisiana where he gained experience as a  mechanic and in the construction  industry. Josh also worked with heavy equipment as he served our country in the United States Army. Josh also is skilled in erosion control and lives with his family in Griffin, Georgia.

 

Josh McEntyreJoshMcEntyre

 Josh McEntyre graduated from Griffin High School in 2013 and worked professionally in plumbing, electrical and erosion control prior to joining the CLI team. Josh has passed his ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) test and is working on completing his certification. Josh and his family live in Griffin where he enjoys spending time outdoors when he isn’t building a paver patio, walk or driveway for one of our clients.
