Turn of the Century Makeover

Turn of the Century Makeover

After renovating the exterior with a fresh coat of paint and other details the old dilapidated landscape was given a makeover as well.

Period accurate plant material was utilized while keeping maintenance requirements in mind. A tree spade was used to relocate a very old wisteria tree to the back yard and make way for a shade tree to tame the southwestern corner sun exposure. Dwarf nandinas and gardenias along with liriope, azaleas, boxwoods, hollies, ferns, hydrangeas, dianthus, creeping thrift, crape myrtles, oaks, and annual flower beds complete the colorful new landscape.
